  • Nog een paar tips voor het werken met Aquarellum:
    • Het is verstandig om het pipetje schoon te maken voor je er een druppel van een andere kleur mee op pakt om te voorkomen dat je de eerdere kleur in het basisflesje van de nieuwe kleur knijpt. Voor jonge kinderen kan het verstandig zijn om een beetje van iedere kleur in vakjes van het mengbord te gieten waar ze dan naar hartelust mee kunnen experimenteren, zodat de basiskleuren niet worden aangetast.
    • Er is heel weinig verf nodig om een kleurplaat mee te kleuren. Ons advies is om geen grote hoeveelheden te mengen.
    • De flesjes zijn klein (5ml), maar dat is ruim voldoende voor de bijgeleverde kleurplaten met nog heel veel over om uit de losse pols te aquarellen en andere kleurplaten te kleuren.

Yeah… about that. Within the first ten minutes, the giraffe’s squeaker gave up the ghost. By the thirty‑minute mark, one of our puppies had already liberated one of its appendages and was preparing to eat it. When I took the giraffe away, he immediately redirected his enthusiasm toward the mallard and removed a wing. Our other puppy went straight for the Red‑Headed Chicken’s throat. She succeeded. She was also making impressive progress on opening the back of its neck. At that point, all three toys had to be confiscated, and the remaining two are still sitting in the box untouched because I value my dogs’ digestive tracts. To be fair, the toys sound fantastic—literally. My puppies adored the squeaks, honks, and crinkles. They had a blast tossing them around and sprinting through the house. But the moment they settled down for a chew session, it was game over. I’m genuinely disappointed that these toys require constant supervision to prevent accidental ingestion, and that my dogs can’t safely enjoy them the way they’re meant to. If your dogs chew even a little, these toys are not worth the investment.
