Let op: Maak geen te dikke lagen, dan blijft de inkt te lang nat door de arabische gom.     Blockprinting is een techniek in de hoogdruk waarbij je eerst een ontwerp uit linoleum, kunststof of hout snijdt en bedekt met inkt.
