Gebruik
Biologische edelgistvlokken hebben een hartige, kaas-nootachtige smaak en kunnen in zowel koude als warme gerechten worden verwerkt als voedzame smaakmaker. Edelgistvlokken worden door veel veganisten gebruikt als vegan vervanger van kaas. Qua smaak en structuur lijkt edelgist het meest op parmezaanse kaas. Je kunt edelgistvlokken ook verwerken in sauzen, soepen en puree.
Het is aan te raden om de edelgistvlokken pas op het einde door het gerecht heen te roeren. Het verhitten van edelgistvlokken kan de voedingsstoffen kapot maken.

Beautiful Book
Format: Kindle
This books was stunning in its depth and simplicity; the multifaceted dimensions of the atoning work of our Triune God are clearly laid out. This is definitely a book I will be reading again and again, and I am thankful for Treat’s God-given ability, as a pastor-theologian, to simply expound and help us meditate on the glories of the cross. If I could meet this guy I would just shake his hand and thank him profusely. Love his work, and through his work have come to love Jesus more.

Attempting to Unravel Complex Ideas
Format: Paperback
Christian theology is interesting in that it is both readily accessible, and multi-layered (and quite complex). As a Christian, I can see the way Christ's teaching was designed to be understandable to all, in all walks of life and all educational backgrounds. That's a big part of why it is so profoundly moving and effective. However, the atonement is a surprisingly deep subject when we as more mature Christians (or at least more educated ones) try to delve into how exactly Christ's sacrifice on the cross worked. I am not an expert by any means, but I found this book deep and enriching in the ideas it presents. I have yet to fully grasp them or figure out how I feel about a few of them. But such is the way of studying the atonement - Christian theologians have been considering it for two millennia. The writing style is accessible enough, I was able to follow it without an issue. I consider this book more of a jumping-off point for further study than a conclusive explanation of all the facets of the atonement as we (try to) understand them.
