Al snel lanceerde Guy Laroche Guy Laroche Monsieur, een even geëmancipeerde lijn die flanellen jassen, overhemdjassen aanbood en corduroy pakken combineerde met coltruien. Het bedrijf begon ook parfums te maken. In 1987 ontving de ontwerper van de Franse overheid de Legion dHonneur. Tegenwoordig wordt het bedrijf geleid door creatief directeur Marcel Marongiu.

Drakkar Noir van Guy Laroche is een Aromatische Fougere geur voor heren. Drakkar Noir werd gelanceerd in 1982. De neus achter deze geur is Pierre Wargnye. Topnoten zijn Lavendel, Citroen, Bergamot, Munt, Rozemarijn, Citroenverbena, Basilicum en Artemisia dracunculus; hartnoten zijn Jeneverstruik, Koriander, Kaneel, Alsem, Engelwortel, Anjer en Jasmijn; Basisnoten zijn Eikenmos, Leder, Spar, Dennennaalden, Sandelhout, Vetiver, Patchouli, Ceder, Amber en Harsen.
