Heartbreak Station, uitgebracht in 1990, is het derde studioalbum van de Amerikaanse rockband Cinderella. De plaat bereikte nummer 19 in de Billboard 200 en werd het jaar daarop platina. VH1 omschreef de nieuwe koers van het album als "bluesy en krachtig", een passende samenvatting voor een project dat drie Billboard Hot 100-singles voortbracht: "Shelter Me", "Heartbreak Station" en "The More Things Change".

Het album markeerde een bewuste stap weg van het glam-metalsgeluid dat Night Songs en Long Cold Winter typeerde. In plaats daarvan koos Cinderella voor een rauwer, meer gestript bluesgeluid. Kort voor de release legde frontman Tom Keifer de evolutie uit aan de Los Angeles Daily News: de band streefde naar een "rauwer, simpeler aanpak", waarbij galm en overdubs werden verminderd om de nummers te laten ademen. Keifer merkte ook op dat blues een grote rol speelde bij het schrijven van de nummers in deze periode.

De diepgang van het album werd verder versterkt door voormalig Led Zeppelin-bassist John Paul Jones, die de strijkersarrangementen voor twee tracks verzorgde. De band benaderde hem nadat ze onder de indruk waren geraakt van zijn orkestrale werk voor artiesten als The Rolling Stones en Donovan.

Heartbreak Station bevat een inlegvel met songteksten en is beschikbaar op zwart vinyl.
