Dankzij de Mil-Spec kwaliteit biedt dit paracord betrouwbare prestaties, zowel tijdens outdoor activiteiten als bij dagelijks gebruik. Bovendien zorgt de stevige constructie ervoor dat het koord langdurig meegaat, zelfs onder intensieve omstandigheden.

Daarnaast is dit paracord bijzonder geschikt voor het bouwen van tijdelijke constructies, het bundelen van uitrusting en het uitvoeren van veldreparaties. Door de hoge trekkracht van circa 250 kg (550 lbs) blijft het koord stabiel en betrouwbaar wanneer het erop aankomt. Hierdoor vormt het een praktische basis binnen elke uitrusting.

Wat dit paracord onderscheidt, is de reflecterende werking. In de mantel zijn duizenden kleine reflecterende deeltjes verwerkt die licht terugkaatsen naar de bron.
