ONZE BELOFTE

Deze zachte, exfoliërende crème verwijdert dode en vermoeide huidcellen en verzacht de huid. Verfijnt en vermindert fijne lijnen. Stimuleert de natuurlijke celvernieuwing met een zachtere en zichtbaar gladdere gezichtshuid als resultaat.

GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING

Breng aan op een vochtige huid met propere handen en masseer dan zachtjes over het gezicht, de hals en het lichaam met zachte, ronde bewegingen. Spoel met lauw water en dep de huid droog. Voor alle huidtypes, genderneutraal. 


BOTANISCHE ACTIEVEN

  • Groene thee (Camellia sinesis leaf extract + Camellia oleifera seed oil):

Dankzij zijn antioxiderende kracht helpt groene thee de huid te beschermen tegen de schadelijke effecten van vrije radicalen, waardoor de veroudering van de huid wordt vertraagd. In groene thee zitten veel polyfenolen, een antioxidant wat zich met name richt op schade veroorzaakt door zonlicht. Daarnaast heeft het een ontstekingsremmende, anticarcinogene en antimicrobiële werking. Vanwege deze eigenschappen is groene thee ook een uitstekende keuze voor huidziektes, waaronder rosacea, acne en dermatitis.

  • Groene koffieboon extract (Coffea arabica seed extract):

groene koffieboon extract wordt gewonnen uit rauwe, ongebrande koffiebonen. Het is hydraterend, verzachtend, voedend en tonifiërend. Dankzij de hoge concentratie van het polyfenol-clorogeenzuur (cga) heeft groene koffie beschermende, antioxiderende en herstellende eigenschappen, ideaal vooral rijpe en beschadigde huid. Het bevat ook tannines die helpen om de vette huid in balans te brengen en de poriën te verkleinen. Groene koffie bevat cafeïne om de bloedsomloop te stimuleren en het evenwicht te herstellen. Wanneer het in de huid wordt gemasseerd, kan het ook helpen om overtollig vocht vrij te maken en zo gezwollen gezicht en ogen te verzachten.

  • Glycerin (Glycerin):

Glycerine is een zogeheten humectant. Het is een lichaamseigen stof die zich in de bovenste laag van onze huid (de hoornlaag) bevindt. Daarnaast kan glycerine ook worden gebruikt als ingrediënt in huidproducten. Het is vochtinbrengend en heeft het vermogen om water aan te trekken en vocht vast te houden.

  • Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis) :

Aloë Vera is een van de meest complete cosmetica- actieve bestanddelen. De kracht van de vetplanten (zoals Aloë Vera) om te overleven in ruwe omgevingen is te danken aan hun ongeloofelijk vermogen om vocht vast te houden. Ze zijn ook zeer ontstekingsremmend, anitmicrobieel en antibacterieel. Al deze factoren maken succulenten uitstekend in huidverzorgingsformules. Ze bezitten uitzonderlijk hydraterende, huidherstellende eigenschappen en zijn erg ontstekingsremmend en verzachtend.

  • Abrikozenpitzaad (Prunus Armeniaca Seed Powder):

De fijne korrels abrikozenpitzaad helpen om de huid te exfoliëren. Daarnaast heeft de abrikoos veel voedingsstoffen (vitamines en vetzuren), ideaal om de huid te voeden.

  • Polylactide (Polylactid Acid):

Polylactide uit maïszetmeel helpt zachtjes bij het delamineren en oplossen van droge en dode huidcellen, waardoor de huid er verfrist en gerevitaliseerd uitziet. Het helpt de huid te ademen en stimuleert celvernieuwing van de epidermis.

  • Lemon Extract (Citrus Limon Fruit Extract):

Dankzij zijn antioxiderende werking beschermt het de huid tegen de schadelijke effecten van vrije radicalen, waardoor de veroudering van de huid wordt vertraagd.

  • Vitamin E (Tocopherol):

Vitamine E heeft veel eigenschappen, maar het onderscheidt zich als de vitamine van jeugd en schoonheid. Het is een antioxidant die cellen beschermt tegen alle externe agressie, zoals vervuiling, pesticiden en stress, de belangrijkste oorzaak van vroegtijdige veroudering. Vitamine E draagt ook aanzienlijk bij tot de productie van energie.

Mixed Feelings on the Saatva Pillow - A Comprehensive Review

Updated Edit (June 2024) : In my quest to find the perfect pillow, I initially purchased the high loft version of this pillow, but it turned out to be a bit too high for my liking. I then decided to try the standard size, and I like it much better! The pillow can still get lumpy and requires fluffing, but opting for the standard lower loft has definitely improved my experience with it. While I still use this pillow occasionally, I generally stick with my Purple Harmony pillow more. Changing my rating to 4 stars. --- Background: Over the past 2 years, I have embarked on a journey to find the perfect pillow, testing over ten different options, including numerous high-end brands. My latest trial was the Saatva pillow, renowned for its rave reviews. Expectations vs. Reality: Despite its widespread acclaim, my experience with the Saatva pillow did not meet my expectations. I opted for the higher loft variant, aligning with my general preference, yet I found it too high of a lot even as a primary side sleeper. Material and Comfort: The Saatva pillow, composed of both latex and down alternative, presented a lumpy texture. This inconsistency resulted in varied support depending on the position of my head. Unlike my regular down alternative pillow, the Saatva required frequent re-fluffing and adjusting throughout the night. Comparison and Value: Considering its price and the overwhelming number of positive reviews, my disappointment was notable. Surprisingly, a more affordable down alternative pillow from Amazon outperformed the Saatva in terms of support and comfort, despite the latter's use of higher quality fabrics and its significantly higher cost. Final Verdict: This pillow was one of the last in my quest to discover the "best" pillow. Sadly, it ranks in the lower ranks among the high-end, expensive pillows I've tried. I preferred the Purple Harmony pillow over the Saatva, albeit with reservations about the Purple Harmony as well. Conclusion: The Saatva pillow, while undoubtedly high-quality and possessing comfortable aspects, did not live up to my expectations, landing it in my pile of unused pillows. It may suit others, but for me, I only give it a 3 out of 5 stars rating.

I ordered the loftier version of the pillow and I love it! I'm a side sleeper and I've been having pillow issues over the last few years where I swear every pillow is either too tall, too thin, too soft to provide support, to firm and hurts my ears, or the stuffing is too slick or something and migrates away from wherever I put my head. It's been... A time. But this pillow has been wonderful! I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it's the perfect height for me! The latex inner chamber provides some much needed support, but the softer outer chamber gives me enough cushion to keep my ears from aching. I will say that, while this is the perfect height for me, personally, I think that if you're someone who prefers a pretty lofty pillow, that this might not be tall enough for you. I ordered the taller version, and it feels right for me, but I've noticed in my pillow buying extravaganza that even pillows that everyone else loves that are designed for side sleepers are usually just too tall for me. So if this pillow is right for me, and you prefer a pretty lofty pillow, I really bet that this won't be tall enough in that case. It's definitely more of a medium loft, rather than a very high loft

I have to testify about this pillow, my brothers and sisters. Ever since I hit my 30s, my body has gone down. Aches and pains. Pops. Crackles. Snaps. It’s ridiculous. The first night I immediately noticed I got more consecutive hours of sleep than I had in weeks. A week later and my shoulder is pain free. I could’ve cried. The height of this pillow stabilizes my neck and shoulders perfectly. It is firm, but gives and contours to your neck and head. It’s a heavy pillow but I don’t even care. Truly I don’t think I’ll ever go back. This pillow has saved my shoulder and I’ll never stop thanking God for it. If you’re experiencing back, shoulder, or neck pain and are considering this pillow, just order it. Please. Just do it. I’m forever changed. But I’m still keeping 20 year old pillow… just for sentimental purposes. 😂

I knew I needed a very soft pillow - all the foam pillows I had bought recently to try to upgrade our home pilllow selection seemed ok to the touch but were still too firm once I tried them out, but recently I also had some neck pain that needed some gentle support and the old old foam pillow I had that was so very soft was losing its supportive qualities and the pain wasn’t getting better. This one seemed by description to fit the bill- very soft by the company’s own definition but also with support. I’m happy to report this is exactly as advertised- the softest foam pillow I’ve tried out of the box but also good support. Pain has improved since I started using this pillow. I would buy more if we need more pillows, it’s perfect for me and I think would be comfortable for most people. I think you just need to figure out how firm you need your pillow and also height preference . I’m an all over sleeper -back, side, even belly sometimes, so it’s fine for me, but it is a little taller compared to other pillows I’ve bought recently. I didn’t compare/try other prominent pillow brands, mostly my experience is Ikea (my daughter uses a very flat and nice foam pillow from them that is even a little pricier than this one and it works well for her), and whatever brands happen to be available at target and Costco. This price point for a name brand is reasonable, I think; I was looking at other brands way over $100, and I was willing to spend that much for something that would work long term, so this one working was great. Also, this definitely does not have any cooling effect technology, which is fine by me, but something to consider if you do like cool pillows. (Although, PSA: I recently had to throw away older foam pillows that had those cooling gel panels because the gel panels started disintegrating into sticky ooze; gross and had to throw away whole pillow because couldn’t dissociate from rest of the pillow. Sad cuz the foam part of those pillows were fine.) Anyway, if you like softer pillows but want good support, this one works well and is worth trying!!
