In combinatie met de TR-302E motorunit biedt de helm een nominale beschermingsfactor van 500 (EN12941 TH3). Bij gebruik met de Jupiter motorunit wordt een nominale beschermingsfactor van 50 (EN12941 TH2) bereikt.
Voor optimaal gebruiksgemak is de M-307 voorzien van een luchtstroomregelaar waarmee de gebruiker de luchtstroom in de hoofdkap kan sturen. Het polycarbonaat vizier is speciaal gecoat voor extra bescherming tegen chemicaliën en krassen. Met een gewicht van 832 gram en een volledig instelbaar hoofdbandenstel biedt deze helm een uitstekende balans tussen comfort en bescherming. Het ontwerp maakt bovendien snel en eenvoudig onderhoud mogelijk.
