In 1997 stapte vader René uit de lokale coöperatie en begon het domein dat tegenwoordig dus door zijn kinderen wordt gerund. Hier gaan de dingen anders dan anders en tegelijkertijd ook weer helemaal niet. Waar Châteauneuf bekend staat om zijn mooie foto’s van wijngaarden met grote rolkeien zijn de wijngaarden hier vooral bedekt met zand. Precies hetgeen waar cultbuurman Château Rayas beroemd om is. 

Beschrijving: Rood fruit als framboos en kersen, vol, rond mondgevoel met florale tonen.

Lekker bij: Geroosterd lamsvlees, wild, stoofpotje, gerechten met truffel.

Leuk weetje: Ook in de wijngaard wordt duurzaam volgens terra vitis gewerkt, overigens niet biologisch. In de warme droge zuidelijke Rhône zijn bestrijdingsmiddelen ook nauwelijks tot niet nodig.
