Weingut Jordan ligt in Pulkau (Weinviertel, Niederösterreich) en kent een wijntraditie sinds 1858. Vandaag leiden Simone en Hannes Hiller‑Jordan het domein, met een duidelijke focus op terroir en precisie. De wijngaarden liggen op lössbodems (fijne, kalkrijke leemgrond), beïnvloed door het samenspel van koele Waldviertel‑winden en het warmere pannonische klimaat. Deze unieke combinatie zorgt voor wijnen met frisheid, rijpheid en duidelijke structuur.

Deze Chardonnay profiteert van de combinatie van warme dagen en frisse nachten, wat zorgt voor een perfecte balans. De wijn wordt gemaakt in een frisse stijl, met een subtiele houtinvloed die structuur en rondheid toevoegt zonder te domineren. In het glas krijg je aroma’s van citrus, appel en lichte exotische toetsen, aangevuld met een zachte romigheid.

In vergelijking met typisch rijkere stijlen (zoals Californië en Bourgogne) is dit een strakke, elegante Chardonnay waarin frisheid en elegantie centraal staan. Een Chardonnay met duidelijk karakter, maar zonder zwaar te worden.

Uitstekend bij visgerechten, schaal- en schelpdieren en romige pasta’s. Ook mooi bij gevogelte en zachte kazen.
