Deze authentieke, handgehamerde klankschaal heeft een wijd uitlopende vorm en een bijzondere, langdurige klank. De schaal is gemaakt van koper, tin en acht edele metalen (Ag, Ni, Cd, Ru, Pd, Pt, Cr, Mn) en draagt de zorgvuldigheid uit van vakmanschap.

Gehamerde klankschalen
Elke klankschaal ontstaat in een volledig handmatig proces. Met aandacht wordt het metaal zorgvuldig in de juiste vorm gehamerd. Hierbij doorloopt men verschillende fasen om de perfecte vorm en een zuivere toon te vinden. Het beginsel is een legering van koper en tin, bekend als brons, met kleine hoeveelheden van andere edele metalen. Het gesmolten metaal wordt in een mal gegoten en vervolgens in schijven gesneden, die verschillen in diameter en dikte. Daarna begint het hamerwerk: de schijven worden met de hand en in roodgloeiende toestand tot een komvorm geslagen. Deze warmte is belangrijk om scheuren te vermijden en het metaal soepel te houden. Nadat de schaal zijn ruwe vorm heeft gekregen, volgt het fijne proces van afwerking. Elke schaal krijgt zo haar unieke vorm en klank door nauwkeurig handmatig hamerwerk en opnieuw verhitten. Tot slot worden de schalen zorgvuldig geschuurd en gepolijst, waardoor ze een zachte, natuurlijke uitstraling krijgen.

It's decent

First off, I am a man who has been searching high and low for a good "natural" deodorant. The smell (Santal Vanilla) is amazing and really wanted to like this deodorant more. However, it just does not last. I get about 6hrs out of this before it starts mixing with the body smells and by 12hrs I have to re-apply. And I am currently using it in the winter, not sure how it would last in the middle of a hot summer. Also, the stick is very hard and tacky. Like rubbing a blue racquetball on your pits. It literally pulls my hair out when applying. If you shave it might not be an issue. Anyway, I'll use up the rest of it but only for short occasions and won't be re-purchasing.

As with most deodorant, I was actually expecting a pretty potent smell with this. I'm very happy to report that's not the case. The scent is pleasant, but not overpowering. I just put a few swipes on before heading out or going to the gym, and I smell nice for the next few hours. Another nice thing about it, such as when going to the gym as I mentioned, is that it doesn't leave a bunch of nasty residue on my shirt or workout clothes. There's a little bit, sure. But not like some deodorants that leave a crap load of it. It's not that it's difficult to wash out. It's just that it's annoying. I don't really know how much I can say about a stick of deodorant. It smells nice, lasts a long time, and works great. Isn't that what it's all about, at the end of the day?

Its scent is very natural and almost unnoticeable. Overall this is great deodorant that works well at hiding underarm odor. I love that it's organic and doesn't contain aluminum, too! This is a great product that I would get again. It's long lasting and feels good on my skin.
