De NVR-recorder NVR504-32B-P16, ontworpen voor 32 camera's, kan 4 HDD's met een totale capaciteit van maximaal 16 TB herbergen. De recorder is uitgerust met één speciale gigabit LAN-poort voor netwerkverbinding, 16x LAN-poorten met 802.3af/at PoE-ondersteuning (30 W/poort) voor voeding en communicatie met camera's, wat een totaal PoE-budget van 150 W oplevert. Het beschikt ook over HDMI, VGA, twee USB-poorten en alarm en audio-invoer/uitvoer. Het stroomverbruik van het apparaat is minder dan 20 W (zonder aangesloten HDD).
De maximale inkomende gegevenssnelheid is 320 Mbps, terwijl de uitgaande gegevenssnelheid 160 Mbps is. Het ondersteunt Ultra 265 / H.265 / H.264-codecs en is compatibel met camera's van andere fabrikanten die voldoen aan de ONVIF-standaard.
De 504(B)-serie van Uniview zijn NDAA-conforme NVR's.
