Alexia Leysen is afwisselend milieuactivist, theatermaker, journalist en fotograaf. In 2019 had ze haar debuutexpo THE KNAUSGÅRD/HASSELBLAD SERIES bij Galerie Verbeeck - Van Dyck. De fotoreeks tourde door Vlaanderen en Nederland met de bijhorende theatervoorstelling KNAUS, gemaakt in samenwerking met monoloogvirtuoos Valentijn Dhaenens. Sinds 2020 verschijnt Alexia's fotocolumn ‘DE ZIN’ wekelijks in De Standaard Magazine.
