kerkvader Augustinus (354-430) ze ook al. Hij schreef erover in zijn bekendste
boek, de Belijdenissen. Mensen die, net als hij, van het christelijk geloof
waren afgedwaald, wilde hij erdoor tot inkeer brengen. Hij wilde zoekers
helpen. En mensen die, net als hij, mochten weten dat God Zelf hen had
opgezocht, wilde hij versterken in het geloof.
Neem en lees is een weergave van Augustinus’ bekendste boek in de
taal van nu. Op een eigentijdse manier en aan de hand van een
'vraaggesprek' met Augustinus kun je de rijkdom van de Belijdenissen leren
kennen.
Om de Belijdenissentoegankelijker te maken, zijn ze door
Evert Barten herschreven. Hij heeft dat op een bijzonder goede manier gedaan.
Mijn bede is dat iedere lezer van deze vereenvoudigde weergave een pelgrim
wordt op reis naar het nieuwe Jeruzalem.

Say hi to Daisy- a13 week year old pit. She absolutely loves the toys! She was using another chew toy and DESTROYED it so I needed a quick replacement. They’re very durable; however, she chipped one of the bones so I don’t anticipate it having TOO long of a life. For the price, it’s great and I recommend for any chewers you might have.

Love them
