Het Italiaanse wijnhuis Cecilia Beretta behoort tot de bekende Pasqua-familie, die een belangrijke rol speelt in Veneto en ook internationaal grote bekendheid geniet. De naam Cecilia Beretta gaat terug naar een villa die graaf Giuseppe Beretta in de zevende eeuw liet bouwen. In 1967 was de Lugana een van de eerste wijnen in Italië die de DOC-status kreeg. De druiven voor Lugana worden geteeld in de regio Veneto, waar het milde, continentaal-mediterrane klimaat ideale omstandigheden biedt. De Alpen beschermen de wijnstokken tegen de koude noordenwind en het landschap van bergketens, vlaktes en kuststroken produceert een verscheidenheid aan karaktervolle wijnen. De gehele productie staat sinds 2002 onder leiding van keldermeester Carlo Olivari. Hij en de familie Pasqua worden beschouwd als idealisten en zeer kwaliteitsgericht. Plush rug that’s super soft. WOW!

Beautiful and super plush! I use it as an outer blanket when cold weather camping. Like a modern day cave man. One of my favorite purchases. I avoid kneeling on it while it’s on my mattress fearing it might split the hide, or damage the stitching. It fits my queen size camper bed. Cant say enough!

Big Investment for a Lifetime of Quality

Several reviews mentioned a smell lingering with the sheepskin even after being unpacked a few days. I did notice the smell when I unpacked it, but I would expect a slight odor from such an item. It was not overpowering and is completely gone after one month of having it laid out on a chest in our bedroom. It is very functional, can be sat on, knelt on, etc, but is easily brushed off and looks great! The quality is very good…someone in my family is on it every night, and we have experienced no shedding whatsoever.
Although the price is a big investment initially, I believe the quality is worthy. We plan to enjoy this beautiful sheepskin for a lifetime!

Really soft & my dog loves it. I used it as a throw over my couch for decor. The smell when I took it out of the package was probably one of the worst smells I’ve ever smelled. Like old broccoli or something. I left it outside to air out all day and that was gone.

Not premium quality! I've seen actual authentic ones before.

Despite all the positive reviews, I believe this product is subpar. There are genuine sheep skin Hydes but this product is NOT it. There is no leather embossing showing authenticity, and many signs of strong chemical treatment. Smell is lingering and I've aired them for over two days. Not very comfortable since the fur is very thick and coarse, you would expect it to be softer for the price as well. Not premium quality. I ordered this for my children to sleep on at long evening Church services but now I will look to more niche sellers for a higher quality product.
