This pet toy sure looks nice but it’s not made to hold up to any type of play. We have 5 lb puppy and she pulled the rope out of the body in two days. We returned it and got a replacement. That one lasted three days before the fuzzy surface was shedding all over our carpet and she was ingesting the material. If it can’t hold up to a 5 lb puppy, I can’t imagine what a larger dog would do to it.

I bought this for our "grandson"--a happy go lucky beagle--to play with while we were dogsitting. As for quality, this is a very well made toy. Yes, it's true that the dog ripped it to shreds, but that'll happen to any toy if the dog is determined enough. I was happy he enjoyed it. He also has two loofa dog toys here that he hardly ever touches, but this duck toy was too much for him to resist. My only suggestion is to supervise your dog while he plays with this. Besides the inner stuffing, the toy has a fuzzy surface to it, and you don't want him chewing a bunch of fuzz if he tears some out, as dogs are apt to do. Other than that, GREAT DOG TOY!
