De accessoiresleuven en clips zijn compatibel met diverse vizierschermen, gehoorkappen en andere accessoires van 3M. De 3M™ Uvicator™ sensorschijf geeft aan wanneer de helm te veel aan UV-straling is blootgesteld en vervangen moet worden.
De 3M™ SecureFit™ Veiligheidshelm X5005V-CE is gecertificeerd volgens EN12492 of EN397 (afhankelijk van de configuratie van de kinband) en goedgekeurd voor zijwaartse vervorming (LD - lateral deformation). De helm is vervaardigd van UV-gestabiliseerd ABS.
