Deze collectie is vervaardigd van mangohout uit India. Het hout is afkomstig van bomen die hun leven als vruchtproducerende mango-bomen hebben beëindigd. Door dit bijproduct te hergebruiken krijgt het hout een tweede leven als meubelstuk, zonder dat er bos gekapt wordt. Elk meubelstuk heeft een warme basis, met natuurlijke kleurvariaties en subtiele zaagsneden die een vintage karakter toevoegen.

Onderhoud
Het rek vraagt weinig onderhoud. Veeg het regelmatig af met een licht vochtige of droge doek om stof en kleine krassen te verwijderen. Vermijd schoonmaakmiddelen met siliconen of ammoniak, en gebruik geen schurende doeken. Voor een natuurlijke glans en extra bescherming kun je het hout af en toe behandelen met wax of minerale olie; dit vormt in de loop van de tijd een beschermend oppervlak en behoudt de warme uitstraling van het mangohout.

Very soft and the matching backing is nice
The blanket is great quality with no smells. It’s thick and cozy. We like the matching backing.
Unfortunately, I should have measured because this barely covers a queen bed despite the heading product description “queen size”. I still haven’t heard back whether they use harsh chemicals when processing.
Overall, it feels great to support companies that use natural products with (hopefully) low to no harmful chemicals.

Works for Sherpa, and heavy rugs
This worked on my 2 Sherpa jackets and a heavy furred rug. I tested it on my old Sherpa jacket that had the furs pretty much flat after years. I used this on it which took about 3 hrs to do and it feels brand new. I was so shocked that I used it on my old rug that had about an inch length in fur. The fur was all tangled so it had little stalks sticking out. After about 6-7 hrs, the rug was straight up rejuvenated felt brand new.
I’m was very pleased with this product. Now, the real question is it worth it? I’ll just tell my opinion from my experience and let you decide for yourself. The product itself feels sturdy with a wooden base. It’s around 6 and a half inches so not very big. (This is one of the reasons why the rug too so long.)The metal brushed was surprisingly durable. I was applying a good amount of force when combing my rug and there were no bending.
For 14 dollars and some elbow grease, I got two new jackets and a rug. The brush didn’t break so I can just keep using this to maintain. In my books, I got my moneys worth.
