Yepa is het protectiemerk van Tony Hawk en Lizzie Armanto, gelanceerd in september 2025. De T-Shell Plus is de meest uitgebreide variant van de T-Shell: dezelfde bewezen technische basis, maar met extra detaillering in de afwerking. Pinstripe details op de shell, prints door de hele bandjes en exclusieve colorways die de helm laten opvallen zonder dat het ten koste gaat van de cleane skate look. Bij Revert 95 in Haarlem zijn we een van de eerste Nederlandse winkels die Yepa voeren.

De helm

De T-Shell Plus heeft dezelfde kern als de standaard T-Shell: inset EPS hard foam gecombineerd met een drielaags zacht schuimbinnenbekleding voor maximale bescherming bij zowel enkelvoudige harde als meervoudige lichte klappen. De deep fit constructie zit laag en stabiel op het hoofd zonder opgeblazen volume. Zachte geborstelde binnenstof, twee verwisselbare sets voering- en kroonpads voor een persoonlijke pasvorm. Gecertificeerd voor zowel skateboarden als fietsen: CPSC en ASTM F-1492-22.

Wat de Plus onderscheidt is de afwerking: een gepinde streepstructuur op de shell en doorgaande prints op de draagriem geven de helm meer karakter dan de strakke standaard T-Shell. Verkrijgbaar in colorways als Icelandic Sun (matte ijsblauw met koelgrijze binnenkant en trim) en Stone/Speckled (matte steenkleur met donkere verfspikkels en zwart op zwart details).

De T-Shell Plus valt groter dan gemiddeld. Neem gemiddeld één maat kleiner dan je normaal draagt. Elke maat wordt geleverd met twee sets padding waarmee je de pasvorm verder kunt verfijnen. Meet je hoofdomtrek in centimeters net boven de wenkbrauwen voor de meest betrouwbare maatkeuze.

Past bij

De T-Shell Plus is voor skaters die iets meer detaillering willen dan de strakke standaard T-Shell, zonder de expliciete pro branding van de Tony en Lizzie modellen. Icelandic Sun is fris en licht, Stone/Speckled is gedempter en subtieler. Beide gecertificeerd voor dagelijks gebruik op straat, in het park of op de ramp.

Oh this was adorable and cozy and spicy and I had so much fun with this book! The relationship between Cammie, Finn and Reid is good. I love how doting both men are of her and her kids, always providing them with a safe space to be themselves. They were patient with Ben and I loved seeing that represented in this book. The plot was done well and it was well paced with quiet, family moments as well as drama to keep us on our toes. I do wish we'd gotten more moments just between Finn and Reid to showcase their strong relationship (they've been together for two decades!) and while we got something, both men were first and foremost focused on Cammie. It makes sense why this was, there was a lot of hurt that needed to be soothed and I'm glad she is treated like the queen she is, but I did yearn for more of the alpha-omega couple.
