8 maanden houtlagering voor Domaines Ott Rose Chateau de Selle 3 Liter

In 1896 werd het beroemde wijnhuis Domaines Ott opgericht door Marcel Ott. Het domein bestaat uit drie verschillende wijnhuizen. Domaine Château de Selle, Domaine Clos Mireille en Domaine Château Romassan. Stuk voor stuk brengen zijn bijzonder hoge kwaliteitswijnen op de markt. Deze Rose Chateau de Selle van 3 liter is niet zomaar een rosé, maar eentje die we echt puur vakwerk kunnen noemen. Met veel passie is deze wijn tot stand gekomen. De manier van vinificeren is biodynamisch met 100 procent aandacht voor het terroir. De oogst wordt volledig met de hand binnen gehaald in augustus. Hierna volgt een tweede selectie van de druiven en een voorzichtige persing. De fermentatie vindt plaats in warmte regulerende vaten en de wijn rijpt tot slot 8 maanden op eikenhouten vaten. Hier staat Domaines Ott bekend om, want wie geeft zijn rosé nu houtlagering? Nou wij kunnen stellen dat dit echt geweldig is en ook zeker niet gek is dat deze verbluffende rosé vele internationale wijn prijzen wint!

Voor ons is het nummer 1, met in de geur een zacht boeket van rood fruit, limoen schil, mineralen en iets van rode rozen. De smaak is echt een plaatje, drink hem als bijvoorbeeld een goede Sancerre want elk slokje is uniek en een aparte ervaring. In de smaak van deze Domaine Ott Rose Chateau de Selle 2023 vinden we indrukken van rood fruit zoals, aardbeien, frambozen en kersen aangevuld met mineralen, limoen schil, grapefruit en abrikozen. Wat een topper, wees er snel bij want oogstjaar 2023 is zeer schaars! Mooi en bijzonder detail is dat de bekende fles is gebaseerd op de oude terracotta vaten waarin vroeger de olijven werden opgeslagen.

Great Teething Toy for an Active Puppy
Our 6-month-old Goldendoodle has really enjoyed chewing on these rings. They’ve been especially helpful while she’s been teething, and so far she hasn’t made a dent in them, which is impressive given how much she chews. There’s clearly some sort of flavor or scent on the toy that makes it especially attractive to her, so it keeps her engaged much longer than some other chew toys we’ve tried. The rings feel durable, well made, and are a great way to keep an active puppy occupied. Highly recommend for teething puppies or dogs that are aggressive chewers.

My aggressive chewer had it roughed up in about 10 minutes, and she lost interest.
Both of my dogs were interested in these right away and started playing with them as soon as I gave them to them. After the first day though, they lost interest. They’ve had them for a couple of weeks now and I can’t really get them to go back to them. These aren’t squeaky toys, which is usually what they prefer, so that may be part of it. The size is decent and works for both of my dogs. My smaller dog isn’t much of an aggressive chewer, but she did chew on it some. My bigger dog is an aggressive chewer (about 85 lbs), and she had this one roughed up pretty quickly. After about 10 minutes, it already had some sharp, jagged edges. That makes me a little concerned about safety since it could scratch her mouth. As far as chew resistance and durability, it didn’t hold up the way I expected for something advertised for aggressive chewers. For value, it’s not the best considering how quickly it wore down and the lack of continued interest from my dogs.
