Door de asymmetrische rollen beleven de spelers hetzelfde spel, maar met elke beurt andere speldoelen.Tijdens de blinde handelsfase kunnen de spelers hun grondstoffen aanbieden in ruil voor geld van een andere speler. De Duivel zal stervelingen verleiden met goederen voor een stukje van hun ziel, terwijl het de aard van de sekteleden is om hun ziel gemakkelijk te verkopen. Alleen de begeleidende app weet wie met wie handelt.
Maar pas op! Pronken met hoe goed je het doet kan ongewenste aandacht trekken en de argwaan van andere spelers wekken. Het kan ook de belangstelling wekken van de Inquisitie, die graag degenen straft die niet kunnen bewijzen dat hun ziel intact blijft.
Er zijn veel dynamische strategieën om mee te experimenteren bij elk spel. Verkoop je al vroeg stukken van je ziel om je stadbouwkundige dapperheid op te krikken, op straffe van toekomstige bestraffing door de Inquisitie? Of ga je zorgvuldig om met het afbetalen van leningen en schulden terwijl je wacht tot anderen onbedoeld hun snode aard onthullen? Elke keuze heeft een gevolg, en elke rol heeft zijn eigen unieke strategische aanpak om te verkennen.

Every other page is a stock picture from wherever; while the message and practice are helpful, this should have been a pamphlet instead of a book -remember Cliffsnotes? Look at the author photo in the back of the book and consider it for a moment, what does your gut tell you? Hopefully you too can glean something from it.
