Achtergrondinformatie: De ouders van Rene? Barbier begonnen in 1942 met met rijstbouw, maar er was altijd een droom om over te stappen op wijnbouw. In 1975 besloten ze Domaine Grand Corbiere te kopen, maar de wijnstokken waren in een slechte conditie en ze moesten gerooid worden. Dan maar asperges verbouwen. Pas in het midden van de jaren 90 maakten ze de overstap naar wijnbouw. Eindelijk. De wijnen die ze maken, waren het waard om op te wachten.
