Graham’s 40 Year Old Tawny, voor deze kanjer moesten we echt even gaan zitten. Een prachtige Port met een uitmuntende kwaliteit. Een 40 jaar oude port met als voornaamste eigenschappen de geweldige complexiteit en zachtheid. De kleur is helder bruin met nog een lichte rode omranding. De neus is zeer complex met aroma’s van noten, rozijnen, karamel en chocolade. De smaak, ja waar moeten we beginnen! De balans tussen alle smaken is werkelijk verbluffend. Een ultieme verwennerij mogen we wel stellen. Prachtige nuances van gedroogd fruit die subtiel overvloeien en hinten van rozijnen, noten en wat pure chocolade. De afdronk is lang, zacht en fenomenaal! Deze 40 jaar oude port word na de traditionele vinificatie gerijpt in grote houten vaten van 534 liter om deze topper het ware karakter van een Aged Tawny mee te geven.De geur en smaak van de 40 jaar oude port van Graham's
Dit 40 jaar oude juweeltje is afkomstig van W&J Graham's. Graham’s staat algemeen bekend als producent van zeer hoge kwaliteit portwijnen. De druiven voor deze port groeien op de terrassen in de Douro vallei op een bodem die rijk is aan mineralen. Deze bodem, in combinatie met het warme en droge klimaat zorgen voor een ongekende kwaliteit port! Graham’s wordt al vele generaties gerund door de famile Symington. Dit magnifieke porthuis bezit eigen wijngaarden in het Douro gebied, maar koopt ook kwalitatief hoogstaand fruit van lokale boeren. Sommige daarvan leveren al drie generaties fruit aan de Symington familie. Graham's produceert uitsluitend Port van de beste druiven, die rijpen op authentieke eikenhouten vaten en met zorg worden begeleid door ervaren en gedreven wijnmakers. Het porthuis Graham’s blinkt uit in het maken van de mooiste Vintage Port en oude gerijpte Tawny Port. Daarnaast is Graham’s ook erg goed in het maken van een port voor alledag. Soft, Stylish Leopard Blanket That’s Lightweight, Cozy, and Big Enough to Share
I have been using this leopard print blanket on both the bed and the couch, and it hits a really nice balance between style, size, and comfort. I went with the larger twin style size instead of a small throw, and that was the right call; it is big enough to fully cover me when I am lying on the couch and works much better for two people sitting side by side than a standard throw that always feels a bit cramped. It also looks great draped across the end of a bed or over the back of a sofa, so it doubles as decor.
The leopard pattern is genuinely attractive in person. Up close you can see that it is a printed, short shag/flannel style rather than true faux fur, but the brown leopard version still reads more realistic and intentional than a lot of loud, pink “leopard” prints. The colors are vibrant and have a nice pop without being tacky, so it fits easily into different rooms and color schemes as a fun accent. From a distance, it gives a soft, faux fur vibe that looks more expensive than it is.
Comfort wise, it is very soft and pleasant to snuggle with. One side feels just slightly softer than the other, but both are smooth and cozy against the skin. It is a single layer blanket with rolled and stitched edges, so it is not a super thick winter comforter, but that actually makes it more versatile. It provides enough warmth to feel comforting without being overly hot, which makes it a nice year round piece: cozy in cooler weather with an extra layer, and just right on its own in milder seasons.
The blanket is also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house or pack for travel, while still feeling substantial enough that it does not come across as flimsy. It has held up well so far, and the overall quality feels good for the price, especially given the larger size. If you love animal prints and want something that works as both decor and a genuinely comfy blanket to curl up with, this one is easy to recommend.

Super Cozy & Stylish – My New Favorite Throw Blanket
