Een voortreffelijke Reproduction Staunton-schaakset met 4-inch ebbenhouten Staunton-schaakstukken, een luxe 60 cm zwart anegre- en esdoorn schaakbord, en een met de hand vervaardigde Manopoulos opbergkist voor schaakstukken.

De Reproduction Staunton Ebony Chessmen 1869 Model is een imposante set Staunton-schaakstukken met een koning van 10,2 cm, inclusief het koninklijke ornament. Met hun zeer verfijnde details en prachtige afwerking worden deze prachtige Staunton-schaakstukken geleverd door hetzelfde schaakatelier dat enkele van 's werelds beste schaakstukken vervaardigt.

Ze zijn gedraaid uit massief hout en vervolgens zorgvuldig gesneden met schitterende detaillering op alle stukken, maar vooral op de paarden.

Een in opdracht ontworpen model door Rechapados Ferrer S.A. van Spanje: het schaakbord is uitgevoerd in hoogwaardig fineer, met prachtig zwart anegre rond de rand en zijkanten van het schaakbord. Met een breedte van 60 cm en een vakgrootte van 6 cm is dit luxe schaakbord behoorlijk royaal van formaat. Het speeloppervlak is gemaakt van fineervlakken van diepzwart anegrehout en licht esdoornhout. Het is vervolgens afgewerkt met een rijke, diepe hoogglanslak, waardoor een speeloppervlak ontstaat met het allerdiepste zwart. Perfect voor deze schaakstukken.

Om de stukken veilig op te bergen wanneer ze niet in gebruik zijn, vormt deze perfect geconstrueerde, gelamineerde, wengekleurige grote houten opbergkist voor schaakstukken de perfecte afronding van deze magnifieke set. Gemaakt door het beroemde familiebedrijf Manopoulos uit Griekenland, kunt u erop vertrouwen dat het vakkundig door meesterhanden is vervaardigd. Met een groot vak en bovendien voorzien van scharnieren in messingkleur en de kenmerkende messing sluitingen van Manopoulos om het deksel gesloten te houden, is het eindresultaat een tijdloze klassieker. I have the Magic Keyboard for my New Ipad Pro 11 inch M4 and my largest complaint is that you can't fold it down and use it in "normal" Tablet mode. I wanted to get something that would let me keep it in a case and use it in a flat mode to draw or play games. I stumbled upon this and was super excited. It has a wireless keyboard and could fold in a lot of ways. I was WAY WRONG. The keyboard is nothing but cheap hard plastic and is very flimsy and comes in DIRECT contact with the screen which will eventually either scratch or break your screen. When closed and folded it makes your SUPER THIN tablet larger and thicker than MOST Business Folios. It also does not turn your screen off. I will give this product 2 stars because the case itself feels really good on the hands. They used a rubber material that Apple uses on their Smart Folio Covers for their iPad. Also, the product idea itself is amazing just very poor build quality and not protection for your screen. I guess that is what you get for your $30.00

Made well but function is challenging

I’m not so sure I really like this over all. The keys on the keyboard are nice, not mushy at all, very clear and functional. And the size of the keyboard is fine. It’s not full size and I didn’t expect it to be. But what I can’t get used to is how floppy the rest of it is. It won’t sit well in my lap, it must be on a flat surface to function at all. I find that very frustrating. The grooves that prop up the ipad won’t hold it if you move it at all. The keyboard must be unattached, moved and reattached to close up everything securely. Also it is heavier than I expected. The quality is good. It is not cheaply made. The color is just what I wanted and expected from the description. I’m giving it four stars instead of three because it is made well, but it’s mostly form over function. Edit: I returned this product and ordered a keyboard with the swivel holder for the ipad, much sturdier and steadier.
