Wat is rotan nauw eigenlijk? Rotan is een natuurlijke vezel uit de palmboomfamilie. Rotanproducten zijn lichtgewicht, duurzaam en vooral milieuvriendelijk. Het is ook een zeer flexibel materiaal dat in veel verschillende vormen kan worden geweven. Rotan is eigenlijk een soort liaan dat groeit in tropische regenwouden. Veel soorten kunnen wel 200 meter lang worden. Per jaar groeit het rotan een 5 á 7 meter.

Rotan lampen onderhouden, rotan lampen hebben bijna tot geen onderhoud nodig! Stof de hanglamp af met een microvezeldoek of met de stofzuiger. Hang de rotan lamp niet in de volle zon zo voorkom je verkleuring van het rotan. Het rotan is goed afneembaar met een lauw sopje.
