Euonymus fortunei ‘Harlequin’ groeit goed op vrijwel alle grondsoorten en is geschikt voor zon, halfschaduw en schaduw. De plant is winterhard en onderhoudsarm. Licht snoeien helpt om de vorm compact en netjes te houden.
