Dit familiebedrijf weet als geen ander de wijnen op perfecte wijzen te vinificeren. En daar mogen wij al zeer lange tijd van genieten.Een Barbaresco met veel stevigheid
Deze Barbaresco van Pio Cesare is een echt Nebbiolowijn. Dankzij het gebruik van de Nebbiolo druif krijgt deze wijn van nature veel stevigheid, en daarom moet hij lang rijpen. De druiven worden alleen geplukt als ze perfect rijp zijn, wat meestal rond halverwege oktober is. De druiven zijn vrijwel alleen afkomstig uit de gemeente Treiso. De rest van de druiven is afkomstig van wijngaarden in Barbaresco en San Rocco Seno dElvio. Dankzij het samenvoegen van deze druiven ontstaat er een wijn met meer complexiteit. De gisting vindt plaats met een optimaal contact tussen schillen en gistende wijn, om de wijn kleur en karakter te geven. De druiven gisten op zo'n 25 graden en ze blijven tussen de drie en vier weken in contact met de gistende wijn. Hij rijpt vervolgens op barriques, deels nieuwe vaten van Franse eiken, deels op nieuwe Slavonische vaten. De wijn rijpt 30 maanden, en daar is bewust voor gekozen. Dankzij de lange rijping krijgt deze Barbaresco meer complexiteit en komt zijn schoonheid nog beter naar voren. En daarin is Pio Cesare meer dan geslaagd.Het resultaat van langdurige houtlagering
Een brede geur is het resultaat met indrukken van rokerig, met kruiden, tabak, maggi, truffel, een vleugje confiture, complex, met mooi vanille, breed en complex. Came damaged

Im still reading it and its not bad so far but im disappointed that it came in the mail so damaged. The cover is peeling off and its making holding the book hard because i dont want to rip the whole cover off.

A must read for public executives
Format: Paperback
Concise, focused, and full of real-world point and counterpoints, I found this to be more of an essential piece of oratory combat equipment than a book. As a non-lawyer working in public service, this book provides excellent points on interpretation, form versus substance, and the importance of observation and evidence – all skills needed to protect the public interest. As someone who monitors contracts in the public sector, many of my peers could benefit from this book and better design contracts to the advantage of their public entity. Incidentally, I was also involved in a heated discussion about data interpretation the same week I was reading this book, and was able to calmly defend and dominate the discussion until my opponent acquiesced. More important than dominating your opponent is the theme throughout this book that one’s argument must be genuine, and the logic tight. Additionally, as Prof. Trachtman reminds readers that these skills, like a weapon, should only be used for good. A great read!

What our kids need to hear
Format: Hardcover
This book says exactly what our kids need to hear in these confusing times. There are so many things that our children hear and see these days that it can be overwhelming and confusing. This book and the sweet illustrations make teaching our kids how lucky we are to live in the US so very easy and important. This is something we need to make sure our children appreciate and they will grow up proud to protect our freedoms afforded to us by so many. Love this book!
