Maak kennis met de mystieke en eigenzinnige dorpjes in de provincie Friesland. Verhalen over de klokkenluider van Jorwert, de verstandhouding tussen buurtdorpen Gaast en Ferwoude, de huiskamer van Dedgum en het verleden van Katlijk.
Als onderdeel van het project “de Tsjerketour” – geïnitieerd door Stichting Alde Fryske Tsjerken en Stichting Popfabryk – is Esther de Jong langs deelnemende kerken in Friesland gegaan om verhalen te verzamelen van het dorp, de gemeenschap en de oude kerkjes. Deze verhalen heeft zij omgesmeed naar liedjes die specifiek over de dorpen zelf gaan maar soms ook meer overkoepelend over de provincie Friesland zelf. Met persoonlijke ervaringen van dorpsbewoners, inkijkjes van de verschillende plaatsen en de geschiedenis daarvan.
“Voeten in de aarde” verschijnt op 12” vinyl en is een EP geworden die neigt naar folklore, maar dan op z’n Esthers. Doe er je voordeel mee.
De muziek van Esther de Jong (Dokkum, 1994) is rauw en niet te ontlopen. Esther bracht in 2023 al een album uit genaamd ‘Even over leven’ en in 2020 de EP ‘Van mij’. Beide uitgebracht bij Excelsior Recordings.

I purchased two of these shelves. Both were received but one was a busted up return from another customer that didn’t get taken out of circulation. Parts were missing and damaged. Returned that for a replacement. It came in perfect. These are easy to put together, minus the pesky stickers that took a lot of patience, Goo Gone, and scraping to get off. I love the 2-tone of the black metal and brown wooden shelves and extra nice touch the middle shelf folds down.

Perfect shelf for the office

When we bought our house it came with an office space and this little wall space in between the cabinets lol. We had no idea what to do with it BUT our monitors took up so much room that we couldn't put anything on the desk really. Then we got the idea of a floating shelf and well this was perfect! Matches and really looks like it came with the house haha. It has held up and now I get my office supplies and can look at pics!
