Ravyn Lenae heeft haar nieuwe album Blue Island aangekondigd, dat op 7 augustus via Atlantic verschijnt. Het is haar derde studioalbum en de opvolger van Bird’s Eye (2024), het album dat de miljarden keren gestreamde hit “Love Me Not” voortbracht.

Ter promotie is de nieuwe single “Handle” uitgebracht: een nummer met een new wave-invloed. De bijbehorende videoclip is geregisseerd door Andre Muir en bevat choreografie van Akira Uchida.

Over het album zegt Lenae: “Blue Island is een moment van aankomst. Ik voel me op mijn plek en vrij van alle vooroordelen over zwart-zijn of wie ik in het verleden moest zijn. Ik vind het nu leuk om de ideeën over hoe R&B of pop zouden moeten klinken uit te dagen en gewoon mijn eigen ding te doen.”

Purchased a Halowview BT7 RV Backup Camera along with the Haloview BTC 129 RV Side Cameras for a little over $550 in September of 2022. Due to a couple of poor reviews on this manufacturer I opted to purchase the 3-year $500-$599 extended warranty for both items at checkout. One of the side cameras went out and when I contacted Asurion they advised me that it was not covered under the warranty that I purchased. They said they will only cover one item at a time on an Amazon order and I was only covered for the $339.57 Backup camera on the order. I tried to point out that I would not purchase a warranty for $500-$599 on something valued at only $339.57. Asurion tried to blame it on Amazon and advised that their terms clearly state they only cover one item per invoice and that I had no warranty on the second item. When questioned about how a consumer is supposed to know this information, they advised that I should have read all their terms on their website. They refused to repair or replace the defective item even after confirming that the policy value was for $500-$599. Total waste of money!
