Domaine Anita is een wijnhuis dat zich volledig wijdt aan het maken van topkwaliteit Beaujolais-wijnen. Het verhaal van het wijnhuis begint bij Anita Neveu, voormalig professioneel wielrenster, die na haar sportcarrière besloot om haar passie voor wijn te volgen en zich te richten op het maken van topkwaliteit wijnen in de Beaujolais. Anita richt zich op het maken van wijnen van hoge kwaliteit en hecht veel waarde aan het selecteren van de beste terroirs. Door haar zorgvuldige selectie is Domaine Anita in staat om wijnen te maken die diverse hoge scores krijgen van gerenommeerde critici, waaronder Robert Parker, James Suckling en Wine Enthusiast. Het is dan ook niet verrassend dat de wijnen van Domaine Anita worden beschouwd als enkele van de beste wijnen uit de Beaujolais. Deze wijn is afkomstig van een wijngaard die op een hoogte van 220 meter ligt, op een ondergrond van graniet. De wijnstokken die hier groeien zijn maar liefst 45 jaar oud en produceren druiven van zeer hoge kwaliteit. Bij Domaine Anita wordt er veel aandacht besteed aan het oogsten van de druiven. Ze worden met de hand geplukt en vervolgens zorgvuldig geselecteerd in de wijngaard, zodat alleen de beste druiven gebruikt worden voor de wijn. Er wordt een specifieke vinificatietechniek gebruikt. Hierbij worden de druiven in een gesloten vat geplaatst, waar ze licht geplet worden en beginnen te gisten. Hierdoor krijgt de wijn een fruitig karakter en een soepele smaak. Na de gisting rijpt de wijn 6 maanden in cementen tanks en tot slot nog 4 maanden op de fles.Hoe smaakt de Domaine Anita Moulin a Vent Tres Vieille Vigne Les Caves?
Het resulteert in een verleidelijk wijn met een robijnrode kleur. In de geur veel bloemen en elegante aroma’s. Rode vruchten zoals frambozen en aardbeien zijn duidelijk aanwezig. De smaak is fruitig en levendig, met hints van frambozen, aardbeien, zwarte bes en rabarber, gevolgd door aardse en kruidige tonen. De verfrissende zuren zorgen voor een mooie balans en maken deze wijn zeer geschikt als begeleider van een breed scala aan gerechten, van geroosterd gevogelte tot licht gekruide visgerechten. A good birds-eye view book.
Format: Paperback
I own the print version of this book, and am using it to teach a high school class on Godot. What I like: it's accessible and descriptive. The explanations in the later book of why the author is doing something are pretty good. They are written in plain English and most of the reasoning for why some things are being done are explained.
What I don't like: the print quality *is* dark, but I'm not sure what you can do about that given that most of Godot is using a dark UI and the book is in black and white. I found it legible, most of the time, but there were moments I had to decipher it from context. Also, I think the initial scripting section is light on details and almost pointless from an educational standpoint. It shows the reader what is going on in normal GDScript, but does not take them through any exercises. The programming aspect of the book is better explained in later chapters, but I think for true beginners the scripting section should be reworked.
Overall, I will use it but will supplement it for students. For personal use: if you have basic Godot knowledge this will probably not add too much to your abilities. If you are new to gamedev this is a good way to pick up the flow quickly, even though there is not a lot of depth.

Very poor print quality
Format: Paperback
The contrast is so low on the images that in many cases they are nearly illegible. There are many sentences which are similar to "by clicking on the [illegible text/icon] button, you can...". Not helpful.
"If you look at Figure 2-14 you can see the output...". No, no I can't.
Maybe the eBook version is better, but the print version is very poor quality.

A Must-Read for Anyone Building (or Rebuilding) a Community—from the Ground Up or Within a Studio

Mastering Community Management by Victoria Tran is easily one of the most approachable, grounded, and genuinely helpful books I’ve read on the subject. It’s not weighed down by corporate jargon or vague motivational fluff. Instead, it reads like a knowledgeable friend sitting beside you, walking you through what community actually is and what it isn’t.
As a small indie developer trying to revitalize my own brand and reconnect with my community after a long absence, this book hit at exactly the right time. It gave me not only strategies, but the right questions to ask myself about the kind of experience I want to create. Too many resources focus on surface-level tactics—Victoria goes deeper. She invites you to reflect on your values, your voice, and your long-term goals, then gives you tools to act on them.

Whether you're part of a AAA studio, a two-person indie dev team, a hobbyist group, or something in between, the book respects those differences and offers flexible, practical guidance that can be scaled or remixed to fit your needs.
The book is packed with real-world examples and thoughtful exercises that walk you through both practical strategies and big-picture thinking. You’re not just handed advice—you’re invited to work through your own approach using templates, prompts, and reflection activities that are grounded in real experience.
Every chapter is dense with insights that are critical for new developers and also thought-provoking for those who’ve been in the industry a while. Required reading for just about anyone!

Rare that we get a book that encompasses so much vital information about the games industry that can also be utilized across a number of fields, rarer still that we get to learn from one of the best in a funny, heartfelt and down to earth book that is a steal at any price. You will read this, and come back to this book, for the years to come.
