Hij zocht daarvoor de samenwerking met drie hardloopvrienden: uitgever Ronald Biesboer, journalist Joop Rommets en creatief vormgever Ralph Grabowski.

Hij zocht daarvoor de samenwerking met drie hardloopvrienden: uitgever Ronald Biesboer, journalist Joop Rommets en creatief vormgever Ralph Grabowski. Hoofdmoot vormen de 66 routes. Goed te doen of loodzwaar. Door bos en duin, over het strand, langs de dijk, dwars door een van de mooie dorpen. Of een combinatie daarvan. Net zo gevarieerd als het eiland zelf dus.

Daarnaast biedt dit boek inspirerende verhalen. Van wereldtopper Michel Butter, die hier vaak en graag trainde. Van Jaap Sijtsma, die begon te rennen om een depressie te lijf te gaan. Van de jonge Carmen van der Werff, die met mannen loopt om sneller te worden.

En van nog veel meer (Texelse) lopers. Lezenswaardig zijn daarnaast de columns en tips van Robert over techniek en over de filosofie van de sport. Kortom, een compleet boek over hardlopen op Texel en een must have voor elke hardloper, Texelliefhebber en levensgenieter!

A professional photographer friend of mine printed my photos as he has a high end Epson printer. He mentioned to me when handing the prints to me that the quality of the print was average with this paper. The texture and feel of this paper is like a sheet of ordinary typing paper. I guess one could use this paper to print test sheets. I will not buy again.
