Hakkie van Rosmalen (1923-2001) - SchaduwDit is een olieverfschilderij van Hakkie van Rosmalen. Het werk toont een schaduw bij een maanlandschap en bomen in een kleurrijk geheel. Hakkie van Rosmalen studeerde na het lyceum aan de Koninklijke School voor Kunst, Techniek en Ambacht, maar vertrok daar al na drie dagen om zijn opleiding voort te zetten aan de Rijksacademie

Dit is een olieverfschilderij van Hakkie van Rosmalen. Het werk toont een schaduw bij een maanlandschap en bomen in een kleurrijk geheel. De speelse voorstelling en het levendige kleurgebruik zijn kenmerkend voor de verbeeldingsrijke stijl van de kunstenaar.

Hakkie van Rosmalen studeerde na het lyceum aan de Koninklijke School voor Kunst, Techniek en Ambacht, maar vertrok daar al na drie dagen om zijn opleiding voort te zetten aan de Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Hier studeerde hij onder meer bij de professoren Röling en Campendonk. Van Rosmalen werkte enige tijd in Spanje en Parijs en was met tussenpozen actief in België en ’s-Hertogenbosch.

Naast zijn vrije werk realiseerde hij ook monumentale kunst, waaronder wandschilderingen en gebrandschilderde ramen voor de tapijtfabriek Desseaux in Oss, wandschilderingen in het sanatorium in Wijk aan Zee en ramen voor het Internationaal Cultureel Centrum in Amsterdam. Daarnaast maakte hij vele portretten en illustreerde hij boeken.
