De Bacopa monnieri is één van de kruiden die voor medicinaal gebruik geteeld wordt en groeit met name in moerasgebieden. Bacopa monnieri bevat unieke stoffen: de bacosiden. Gezien de complexiteit van het kruid wordt door de traditionele ayurvedische artsen altijd het gebruik van het gehele kruid aanbevolen, omdat er tijdens het extraheren een aantal belangrijke stoffen verloren gaan die juist voor de synergetische werking van de bacosiden zorgen.
Brahmi betekent in het Sanskriet ‘bewustzijn’ of ‘wijsheid’.
Werking
De belangrijkste inhoudsstoffen zijn bacosiden, alkaloiden, saponinen en fytosterolen.
Dit Bacopa 10:1 extract bevat 50% bacosiden gemaakt van het hele blad en is geëxtraheerd door middel van ethanol. Het is vrij van zware metalen, pesticides en non GMO.

Ingredienten

I held on to this product for months before trying it. Wow! Not sure what took me so long, but I am so impressed. First of all, it is easy to drink - just do it quickly. The taste is surprisingly refreshing.
Even more important, it works. If you have IBS or other digestive issues, you may be pleasantly surprised at how it helps these issues. I just regret I didn’t start using it years ago. I take at least two drinks a day, sometimes only one.
