BIA Ortho is ideaal bij chronische (gewrichts-)aandoeningen zoals artrose. Het is een druk verlagend bed, wat gewrichtspijnen verminderd. De bodem van het bed bestaat uit twee stukken polyether. De bovenste laag vormt zich naar het lichaam en op deze manier zorgt het voor een verlichting van de drukpunten bij de heupen, knieën en schouders. De onderste laag voorkomt het doorzakken van het bed. Door deze combinatie verdeelt BIA Ortho het lichaamsgewicht gelijkmatig, wat spier- en gewrichtspijnen verlicht. Het bed is overtrokken met kunstleder.
