Deze wijn komt van de Andreasberg. Deze berg ligt direct boven het wijnhuis en wordt al sinds de 15e eeuw verbouwd. De wijnstokken groeien ideaal op deze zuidwestelijk georiënteerde wijngaard met granieten bodem, omringd door het Zwarte Woud. De rijping in houten vaten van 1200 liter zorgt voor een prachtig samenspel met de aanwezige citrusaroma's. De opbrengst van deze wijngaard wordt laag gehouden om de kwaliteit en de diepte van de wijn zo verfijnd mogelijk te maken.

 Quote van het wijnhuis: "De wijnen die we het 'Erste Gewächs'-label toekennen, zijn stuk voor stuk uitmuntend, onderscheidend en duurzaam. Ze zijn afkomstig van onze Andreasberg wijngaard. We benadrukken het karakter van de locatie door ons te concentreren op Bourgogne- en Rieslingvariëteiten en door geen grote hoeveelheden te oogsten.
