De RRP RearGuard Off-Road is een afneembaar spatbord dat ontworpen is om direct onder je zadelrails te passen. In tegenstelling tot de slankere wegmodellen is de Off-Road versie breder en robuuster, speciaal ontworpen om modder- en waterspetters tegen te houden die ontstaan door MTB-, gravel- of cyclocrossbanden.

Het is het essentiële accessoire voor natte uitstapjes wanneer je droog wilt blijven zonder het uiterlijk van je fiets te verpesten. De montage is direct en vereist geen gereedschap: het glijdt tussen de rails en klikt vast dankzij het ingenieuze ontwerp. Als de rit voorbij is en de zon weer schijnt, kan hij in een oogwenk worden verwijderd en plat in een tas worden opgeborgen.

Is het compatibel met een zadeltas? Normaal gesproken niet. Omdat hij de ruimte tussen de zadelrails inneemt, is het moeilijk om er een fietstas overheen te plaatsen. Hij is ideaal voor fietsers die een rugzak, heuptasje of gereedschap aan het frame bevestigen.

Wat is het verschil met de Road-versie? De Off-Road versie is veel breder. Een mountainbike- of gravelband gooit veel meer water en modder naar buiten dan een dunne wegband, dus dit model heeft de maat om echte off-roaddekking te bieden.

Let's just address the elephant in the room. My family says I am cheap, but I call it thrifty. Either way, I bought a couple of cork screws earlier that left like they would break at any moment when pushing down the arms, and after a few bottles, one arm did bend. So this time, i paid attention to the reviews and chose these cork screws as the review said they are solid quality. The review was correct. This design is pretty fool proof and easy for anyone to use. You do not need super human strength to pull the cork. Just remove the foil, screw the sharp coil into the cork until the arms have reached the top of their range, the place the bottle on a hard surface and push both arms down. Easy peasy. The bad openers I mentioned earlier did not have anything on the opener arms and the metal was thin. It did not provide a good feel. These cork screws have thicker arms and have a rubber grip on them which provides a much more comfortable operation. I would definitely recommend these cork screws for quality and value.
