RecallRecall is a deep strategy game centered around engine building and exploration. Each player begins the game with one of fourteen unique tribes and one of eighteen unique gadgets, both of which heavily influence your strategy and opportunities. Lead your tribe, explore the lands, and uncover traces of ancient civilizations to shape your path to success. On your turn, you can either use a keycard to activate an action box or recall to produce resources

Recall is a deep strategy game centered around engine-building and exploration. Each player begins the game with one of fourteen unique tribes and one of eighteen unique gadgets, both of which heavily influence your strategy and opportunities. Lead your tribe, explore the lands, and uncover traces of ancient civilizations to shape your path to success.

On your turn, you can either use a keycard to activate an action box or recall to produce resources and regain your keycards. When you use a keycard, its abilities and the effects of the chosen action box combine to determine your actions. These allow you to populate lands, explore new areas, move followers, or build workshops, vaults, and monuments. As the game progresses, you can enhance your tribe by acquiring new keycards, upgrading action boxes, and collecting ability stones or relics.

An important part of the game is exploring dig sites to uncover traces of ancient civilizations. These sites unlock powerful abilities, ancient gadgets, and critical scoring opportunities. Three times during the game, players must choose between two paths, each offering an immediate bonus and influencing one of the game’s end-scoring categories.

With the optional digital companion website, players can archive their tribes at the end of the game, making them discoverable as ancient civilizations in future matches played by others.
