Beschrijving
Temtex tape neemt naast de toepassingen binnen de sportfysiotherapie een steeds grotere plaats in bij de behandeling en preventie van Lymfoedeem. Temtex is een zeer dunne en elastische Kinesiologie tape, speciaal geproduceerd voor de Aziatische taping methode waarbij de huid gelift wordt en een 24-uurs (na)behandeling geboden wordt. Temtex werkt drukontlastend op het onderhuids weefsel waardoor het pijnverzachtend werkt en de lymfstroom bevordert.
Temtex wordt geproduceerd in Zuid-Korea, de oorspronkelijke Aziatische behandelmethode is nu een reguliere behandeling in Europa en de Verenigde Staten.
Indicaties
Temtex Kinesiologie Tape heeft een positief effect op klachten waarbij sprake is van stuwing of druk ter hoogte van het onderhuids weefsel. Bij de onderstaande indicaties wordt de methode veel toegepast:
• Oedeem klachten, van (primair) lymfoedeem tot oedeem na trauma of bij littekens
• Hematomen
• Pijnklachten als gevolg van druk of spanning

De Werking
De elastische Temtex Kinesiologie Tape zorgt voor een huidliftende werking. Door de speciale manier van tapen en de elasticiteit van de tape wordt de huid als het ware opgetrokken en ontstaat er ruimte tussen de epidermis en het onderhuids weefsel. De bloedsomloop en lymfafvoer nemen toe door de extra gecreëerde ruimte. Temtex kan meerdere dagen blijven zitten, het genezingsproces wordt op deze manier continu ondersteund.
Effectief en comfortabel
• Temtex is een elastische, lucht- en waterdampdoorlatende zelfklevende tape van hoogwaardig katoen.
• Temtex is dunner en elastischer vergeleken met andere tapes, dit vergroot het lifteffect van de huid.
• De dunne tape behoeft een dunnere kleeflaag, waardoor de kans op huidirritatie gering is.
• De elasticiteit is 150% tot 160%, waardoor de behandeling zeer comfortabel is.
• De waterbestendige toplaag maakt douchen en zelfs zwemmen met Temtex mogelijk.
• Temtex is dermatologisch getest en niet toxisch of irriterend gebleken voor de huid .

I bought this suit for my son's graduation, and it was exactly what we needed. Since he will probably only wear it once, I didn't want to spend a fortune at a high-end department store. I’m 220lbs 6’1 athletic build. Arms/back couldn’t fit inside the jacket. Pants and vest fit fine though. I honestly should get stuff tailored considering my body competition. Good quality for the price worked for me.

XL sized suit review

I ordered XL for my husband who is 6'1" and weighs 200 lbs. The pants' length was too long and we had to cut off two inches and get them hemmed. Jacket could be a little bigger in the mid section and shoulders but vest fit well. Could do without the fake handkerchief in the suit jacket pocket. Still liked the style and the color of the light blue suit.
