De Albariño van onze geschiedenis
Castel de Fornos is het paradepaardje van onze familiewijn, een eerbetoon
aan onze eerste wijngaard, gelegen op de iconische Fornos-heuvel.
Dit droge, steenachtige terrein, door onze voorouders "castel" genoemd,
was een welvarende plek voor de teelt van Albariño, wat resulteerde
in een wijn die de essentie van ons land vastlegt.
Traditionele productie, onvergelijkbare smaak
Castel de Fornos wordt geproduceerd volgens traditionele technieken
die de zuiverheid van de Albariño-druiven respecteren.
We gebruiken het sap van de eerste persing, dat vrij is gedroogd,
om de intensiteit van de aroma's en natuurlijke kwaliteiten te behouden.
Dit zorgvuldige proces wordt aangevuld met fermentatie in roestvrijstalen
tanks, waardoor de uitzonderlijke organoleptische eigenschappen behouden
blijven.
Bij welke gerechten past deze wijn?
Deze rijke en smaakvolle wijn combineert fantastisch met
gegrilde scheermessen, waarbij de frisheid ervan wordt gecombineerd
met de zeesmaak van scheermessen.
Proefnotities:
Kleur: Schoon en helder, citroengeel met groene glinsteringen.
Geur: Goede aromatische intensiteit met witte bloemen, pitvruchten en
citrusvruchten.
Smaak: Zachte en omhullende textuur, met variëteitsfruit
(citrus en pitvruchten) vergezeld door witte bloemen en minerale tonen.
Goed in balans met een verfrissende zuurgraad en een delicate, aanhoudende
afdronk.

returned- for now

I was using the lotion version of this for about a year, then went to the balm for more hydration. However, it seems to be breaking me out. I think because it's spring, im not needing as much occlusion as i did during winter. I'm gonna go back to the lotion formula, then pick this up again next winter.
It is a little hard to spread, but I spray the avene mineral water on, let it dry slightly, and press the balm into my skin when its still wet. That helps thin the balm just enough to rub in. Otherwise, it can actually feel kind of rough!

Impressive
Style: Updated Formula
Nice thick cream! I even saw results (skin improvement) within days. I like this way better than their Cicalfate+, as it’s easier to rub in, less greasy, and doesn’t have the water vs cream separation issue. I’m not a huge fan of the pump top for this one, but at least it’s a tube instead of a solid canister (where you can’t see how much is left or get to the last bit).
