De toegevoegde Piroctone Olamine in deze shampoo is een antischimmelmiddel dat de gist bestrijdt die verantwoordelijk is voor roosvorming. De Pepermuntolie heeft een stimulerende, verkoelende en jeukverlichtende werking. De Salicylic acid (1,8%) heeft een anti-bacteriële werking en voorkomt roosvorming. De Tea Tree olie heeft een kalmerende werking.
