De HRV 300 kruisstroom-/tegenstroomwarmtewisselaar is ontworpen voor gebruik in Defro Air warmteterugwinningsunits en combineert een hoge warmteterugwinning met uitstekende bedrijfszekerheid. Deze warmtewisselaar wordt toegepast in zowel Defro DRX als Defro DRX Opti ventilatie-units.

Kruisstroom-/tegenstroomwarmtewisselaar

Bij dit type warmtewisselaar zijn de toevoer- en afvoerluchtkamers parallel aan elkaar geplaatst, waarbij de luchtstromen grotendeels in tegengestelde richting bewegen. Hierdoor wordt de contacttijd tussen de luchtstromen verlengd, wat resulteert in een zeer hoge warmteterugwinning tot wel 95%.

Tegenstroomwarmtewisselaars zijn bovendien aanzienlijk beter bestand tegen vorst dan traditionele kruisstroomwarmtewisselaars. Om deze reden worden ze veelvuldig toegepast in residentiële woningen, met name in koudere klimaatzones zoals Polen.
