I loved designing this Persian place mat here by hand in my small UK based studio — my ginger Persian is one of my first designs, and a favourite. Persian cats always captivate, really striking and characterful cats! My place mats are all made here in the UK, in small sustainable quantities, sturdy mats, made from thick eucalyptus hardboard and cork backed (for no slippage!) with a glossy melamine finish, which is heat and stain resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth — practical as well as beautiful!
