Лучшие изделия Императорского фарфорового завода радовали любителей прекрасного всего лишь несколько дней в году, в канун Рождества; их выставляли на всеобщее обозрение в Зимнем дворце, затем они становились собственностью императорской семьи или "царскими подарками". Великие мастера создавали новые шедевры и Рождественское чудо повторялось вновь уже в будущем году. Мастера сегодняшнего дня - носители нового творческого духа. Но их работы насыщены не меньшей энергетикой, чем работы художников XVIII, XIX, XX веков. Замечательная плеяда современных мастеров Ломоносовского фарфорового завода, чьи работы составили основу экспозиции "Поднесение к Рождеству", открывает новому веку новые грани искусства. Их талант получил развитие в минувшем XX веке, и по сей день они создают замечательные произведения, которые становятся творческим ориентиром для новых поколений художников".

The second time in the Hermitage an exhibition of" Christmas Gift ". This tradition was laid during the reign of Paul I; was interrupted after the 1917 revolution. The best products of the Imperial Porcelain Factory, delighted fans of the beautiful are just a few days a year, on Christmas Eve, they put up for public display of the Winter Palace, and then they became the property of the royal family or the "king's gifts."
