 ROMANO - GALLIC EMPIRE

 Gallic Roman Emperor

Tetricus I 271-274 A.D.

Bronze Double Denarius

Obverse: - Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right.

Reverse: - Virtus standing left, resting hand on shield and holding spear.

Virtus was a specific virtue in Ancient Rome
. It carries connotations of valor, manliness, excellence, courage, character,
and worth, perceived as masculine strengths (from Latin vir, "man"). It was thus
a frequently stated virtue of Roman emperors , and was personified as a deity .

Gaius Pius Esuvius Tetricus was the emperor
of the Gallic Empire from 271 to 274 AD. He was originally the praeses
(governor) of Gallia Aquitania and became emperor after the murder of Emperor
Victorinus in 271, with the support of Victorinus's mother, Victoria. During his
reign, he faced external pressure from Germanic raiders, who pillaged the
eastern and northern parts of his empire, and the Roman Empire, from which the
Gallic Empire had seceded. He also faced increasing internal pressure, which led
him to declare his son, Tetricus II, caesar in 273 and possibly co-emperor in
274, although this is debated. The Roman emperor Aurelian invaded in 273 or 274,
leading to the Battle of Châlons, at which Tetricus surrendered. Whether this
capitulation was the result of a secret agreement between Tetricus and Aurelian
or necessary after his defeat is debated. Aurelian spared Tetricus, and even
made him a senator and corrector (governor) of Lucania et Bruttium. Tetricus
died of natural causes a few years after 274.

A Solid, Stylish Solution!
Size: 4-Tier (Not included planks)
I use this industrial pipe shelf setup in my salon to display and organize products, and it’s been a great fit. The hardware is sturdy and gives a clean, rustic vibe that works well with my space. It was easy to install, and I added my own boards to customize the look. The open design makes it easy for clients to see what’s available, and it’s held up well with daily use. A solid, stylish solution for keeping things neat and accessible.

Easily assembled.
Size: 3Pack of 5 Tier (Not included planks)
Easily assembled, seems sturdy and built to last. Once attached to wall seems even sturdier than expected. Anchor pieces included but I choose to find studs to anchor to.

Good but misleading size
Size: 3Pack of 5 Tier (Not included planks)
Sturdy set for shelving. However dimensions are misleading. Not sure if they sent the incorrect size but the vertical distance between shelves was 11” and that’s without the shelving installed
