As much as I love a big statement necklace like the African Dancer or Solstice, I wanted to design something equally eye catching while delicate for those who prefer more minimalist jewelry. Each Gold Fancy Chain necklace features two semi-precious gemstones hand cut in Rajasthan, India, with a gold vermeil charm made by the Karen tribe in Thailand and plated in the US. I bring them together in my Brooklyn studio where they are all hung on gold filled chain.
I love the combination of the faceted teardrop and round beads alongside the embossed pendants. The necklace is beautiful on its own or layered with other pieces in the collection to highlight the stones. It’s the perfect gift for someone who likes simple, light necklaces.
