Proceeds from the Pineapple Plate With Purpose™ benefit Family House, a non-profit organization that provides an affordable “home away from home” for patients and their families who are receiving medical treatment at Pittsburgh-area hospitals. They lovingly create an environment in which the strength and spirit of their guests can come together. And hope to reduce the emotional and financial stress for people facing a medical crisis in a city where they may be strangers.
15% of Plates With Purpose™ proceeds will be donated to the partner chapters of these worthy organizations. By helping them sell these plate collections to their respective members, supporters, clients, and volunteers.
This American made product is manufactured in a women-owned eco-friendly business. Each piece is made with environmentally friendly processes and materials. Glass is 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly without loss in quality or purity.
Made from post-industrial/pre-consumer recycled glass, not from post-consumer bottles or materials that populate our recycling bins at home. Recycling their very own scraps after they cut their shapes and add them to other industrial scraps that come from partner businesses. These bits and pieces are used to create new sheets of glass that will become more plates.
