- THIS TREE'S ORIGIN -
This Walnut tree grew in the Whiteaker neighborhood. This tree had been removed quickly by the city after developing 1,000 Canker Disease. This sickness is a mix between an infestation of Twig Beetles and a fungus that only effect the back of Walnut species. This tree was in the middle of a whole row of Walnuts, so immediately removing it was so important so the others weren't effected. The Western United States was the initial hub for this disease, but known cases are now appearing across the country.
The item pictured is custom built and one-of-a-kind. Your product will vary slightly in color, shape, and inlay placement. No two trees are alike and therefore no two pieces will be exactly alike. That is the beauty of a natural product.
