This exquisite fine art round is struck in .999 fine copper. Each proof-like state collector coin will be 39mm in diameter by 2.8mm thick. Outer Capsule Dimensions will be 44.3 mm by 5.5 mm thick. It weighs 1 AVDP oz. The surface has been lacquered to slow oxidation. The minute details pay homage to over 2,500 years of lore and art celebrating the fearsome beast that was part lion, part scorpion with the wings of a dragon that preyed on Athenian youth that traveled too far from home. This design features Manticore stepping over the bones of his victims. The Parthenon is featured on the back. It is from Series 1 of the Ultra Rare Coins.
