Наприклад, волонтер. З 2014 року, впродовж 8 років, він організовував потужну системну допомогу Азову і Правому Сектору, а з 2022 року — в мейнстрімі волонтерського руху Миколаєва.

Втім досить складно уявити собі Любомира, скажімо, в ролі російського панк-рокера чи тюремного в’язня. Та ця божевільна фантазія насправді фантазією б не була. Оскільки це реальність. Реальність іншого життя. У світі, що поруч.

В 2000-му році Юрій Карлаш був несправедливо засуджений судом рф до 6 років та 6 місяців відбування покарання в колонії загального режиму і фактично провів за ґратами 4 роки. Після звільнення свою небанальну історію він виклав у книжці.

Цікаво, що в колонії Юрій зустрічався з епатажним російським політиком Едуардом Лимоновим під час відбування ним покарання, і фактом цього знайомства автор ділиться. Але ще цікавіше, що Лимонов на свободі також написав книгу про колонію, в якій згадав Юрія. Проте важлива книжка 'Світ, що поруч' не цими літературними перегукуваннями, а насамперед щирим викладом про досвід, який мають насправді не так і мало людей. Але одиниці можуть його відрефлексувати. Наш автор зміг.
