The Sunlu Carbon Fiber PLA is new in Australia and is a perfect material for those wanting to have a Carbon fiber look but don't need the strength or stress of printing 100% carbon fiber filament. It has small carbon fiber particles to give it a slight increase in strength over standard PLA and provide Carbon Fiber look.

Please note that its recommended to use a Hardened Steel Nozzle, Nozzle X or Vanadium as this filament is abbarssive and will wear away your standard brass nozzles.

Sunlu is the company behind our favourite Filament Dryer. For best print results please always dry your filament even when its sealed from the factory.

  • Best Printing Temperature：190-220℃
  • Bed Temperature：0-60℃
  • Printing Speed：30~90mm/s
  • Movement Speed ：90~150mm/s

On our Prusa MK3 printer farm we print at 215 degrees & 65-degree bed temperature. Other variables such as speed layer height are always dependent on what quality print you are aiming for.

The stickers that label the parts are impossible to remove and if you do get them off theres a lot of residue left behind.
